With the rise in the worldwide pandemic, Joydeb Mondal is trying to be conscious day by day. With his family and kids in danger, he makes sure they are fully quarantined at home with all the necessary measures. However, he has to step out of the house regularly for his campaigns and meetings. Well, we all know work is necessary. However, our health happens to be way more valuable than work. And, when it comes to Joydeb, he leaves no stone unturned for his safety and well-being. Come let's find out how he keeps himself fit during Covid 19.
Vitamin C infused diet
Being a highly knowledgeable person, Joydev knows how to take care of his well-being. Thus, adding Vitamin C to his diet was the first thing he did after the outbreak of Coronavirus. His diet starts with lemon and honey water in the morning to fresh fruits like Guava, Lemon, Apple and Sweet lime in the dinner. For lunch, he choses high protein foods like Eggs, Chicken and Tofu. He was never a person who loved fast food and thus, it did not take a toll on his health yet.
When it comes to workout, Joydev Mondal Asansol prefers yoga the most. According to him, Yoga is much more beneficial than cardio for boosting immunity. Also, he combines almonds and raisins in his diet on the day he practices yoga. His favourite Yoga is Surya Namaskar and he happily practices over 200 Surya Namaskar reps a day. It not just keeps his body fit and healthy, but also he believes to calm his mind through his act of workout. He recommends people to try this who are not likely workout enthusiastic.

Black tea
Tea happens to be a staple in his diet since the day he started drinking tea. But, he turned it into a habit since the onset of lockdown. As doctors believe that warm substances tend to reduce the effect of the novel virus to some extent, he drinks 5 to 6 cups of black tea regularly. However, when it comes to his kid, he replaces them with hot chocolate drink as tea, being a tranquilizer, does not happen to be suitable for children. Thus, he made this choice.
Core workout
As Joydev Mondal is a busy person with a hectic daily schedule, he chooses to do simple leg raises for core workout. Sometimes, he also combines leg raises with planks to stretch his exercise regime to some extent. This helps him regain his strength daily and sets his spirit for the day. He wakes up at 5 am in the morning and exercises before heading to work.
Sanitization
Sanitization does not simply involve washing your hand with hand wash or sanitizer. Your body needs to be cleaned from the insides too. So, in this case, Joydeb Mondal from Asansol considers drinking warm water with lemon and coconut sugar. Coconut sugar is a great immunity booster and does not take a toll on your health when it comes to diabetes.
These are some of the primary tips and tricks to keep yourself safe in the time of Covid 19. Joydeb suggests to take proper care of your well-being as your body is the only wealth you own above all.
